Most major airlines fly to Belize International Airport (BZE) including United, American, Delta and Southwest. BZE is located in Belize City and there are two options to get to Caye Caulker. The first is a ten minute flight from BZE to the local airport on Caye Caulker which costs approximately $90 usd on Tropic Air – www.tropicair.com. We recommend that you buy these tickets in advance of your departure. The second option is to take a water ferry to the island. For this, it is necessary to first take a taxi to the ferry terminal which is roughly 20 minutes away from the airport and costs $30 usd. The taxi driver we recommend is Jose Golib of Jose Tours – firstname.lastname@example.org, 501-663-5000. His website is www.josetoursbelize.com. Contact him directly in advance with your arrival time and he will meet you at the airport. There are two ferry companies: San Pedro Express – www.belizewatertaxi.com and Ocean Ferry – www.oceanferrybelize.com. The majority of our guests take the San Pedro Express. It is approximately a 45 minute boat ride to Caye Caulker and costs $15 usd each way. Tickets can be purchased at the ferry terminal upon arrival. Once you arrive in Caye Caulker, take a golf cart taxi ($5 usd) to Weezie’s Oceanfront Hotel where you will get checked in.
A couple days before your arrival, please send your approximate arrival time to email@example.com.
