Location/Getting Here
Most major airlines fly to the Belize International Airport (BZE) including United, American, Delta, and Southwest. The Belize International Airport is located in Belize City, a 45 min boat ride from Caye Caulker. We recommend the following three ways to get to Caye Caulker from Belize City:
Private Boat Pickup: This is generally the quickest and easiest way to arrive at Caye Caulker. A Weezie’s staff member will meet you outside of customs and drive you 2 miles to the Ladyville Marina, where the Weezie’s boat will be waiting with cold Belikin beers and water. From there, a 45 min private boat ride will take you to the Weezie’s pier at the oceanfront hotel. Please email weeziesbelize@gmail.com for scheduling and pricing.
Tropic Air Flight: This is a quick ten minute flight from BZE to the local airport on Caye Caulker. It costs approximately $90usd on Tropic Air (www.tropicair.com). We recommend that you buy these tickets in advance of your departure. The hotel is located ½ a block from the airport and can easily be walked to.
Water Taxi: From the Belize International Airport take a 20 min taxi ride to the ferry terminal ($30usd). We can arrange a taxi driver to meet you at the airport. To schedule, please send your arrival date, flight number, and arrival time to (weeziesbelize@gmail.com). There are two ferry companies, San Pedro Express (www.belizewatertaxi.com) and Ocean Ferry (www.oceanferrybelize.com). The majority of our guests take the San Pedro Express. It is approximately a 45 minute boat ride to Caye Caulker ($15usd each way). Tickets can be purchased at the ferry terminal upon arrival. Once you arrive in Caye Caulker, take a golf cart taxi ($5usd) to Weezie’s Oceanfront Hotel where you will get checked in. The last water taxi is at 5:30pm. We do not recommend taking the water taxi if your flight lands after 4pm.
Please send your approximate arrival time to weeziesbelize@gmail.com a few days prior to your arrival.
